reason being the Q45 tranny is the same as the auto TT internally so all you would need to do in order to swap in a vh45 is find a donor Q45 and a TT auto driveshaft, fab up a modified oil pan, engine mounts, intake, and exhaust, run an E-fan and a couple other mods and you would be done...... a TT swap is just as much trouble but at 3 times the cost, and only a 100hp advantage.... a vh45 can pump out up to 400 NA hp tuned with headers and cams. I've seen good running complete Q45's sell for $800 a TT swap is $2000 in parts at the least and by the time you're done with maintenance it would be over $2500 (btw vh45 has a timing chain <3)
*disclaimer*: all that I say may be true or I may be completely wrong and I accept that.... please, it is your duty as another person on the internet to impolitely tell me how wrong I am :) "The dreaded 2nd windshiled wiper swipe when you turn it off its almost like tis showing you that it's boss, and it doesn't have to stop when you tell it to :("-College Boy (discussion on ptu relocation) "No good reason to put it there anyway. -Bernie (NoVA) False -vorpalZ False. -Bernie (NoVA) You're correct, there are 3 good reasons -vorpalZ False. -Bernie (NoVA) Wow, right again, just remembered another, make that 4 -vorpalZ" XD
